From a chainsaw and a dream
JMA Sawmilling began with a 24-year-old young bloke, a chainsaw, and a burning passion to keep the old traditions alive. From humble beginnings, dropped in the bush for a nine-day swing out west with just a chainsaw, a swag, and the determination to create something from nothing, it grew into taking on a dying old commercial sawmill. Our drive is to make a real difference in how things are done, from the people we target with our products to the way the bush is managed for our landholders and, ultimately, for our children. If it's not sustainable and it's not Australian owned and run, it doesn't align with what we believe in.

Weatherboards are also a close contender when it comes to a product we personally enjoy milling.
